The service provides partner (hotel) offers via sms messages. By replying to the sms message, the user (subscriber) can accept the offer and automatically make the related booking. Nothing else is required other that show up on the proper date and time.
In order for a subscriber to participate in the program, he or she must register through this website. After registration, access to the website will be password controlled.
During registration, the subscriber will be required to enter such information such as user profile, personal preferences, and billing information. Personal preferences will hold information concerning the choice of hotel rooms, such as room type, or number of children accompanying, as well as general purpose preferences concerning the maximum number of sms to be send to the user on a monthly basis.
Billing information is required so that the partner can make the automated reservation once the subscriber has accepted an offer. All credit card information is handled through a secure system to ensure confidentiality.
Once the subscriber completes the registration forms, the system will send an activation sms to which the subscriber must reply in order to activate their account. This is a security feature that verifies that the subscriber has entered a valid mobile phone number.
Note: All replies to the system are numeric, with no text either before, or after the number. For example, for activation, the system will send the following message:
BookitEasier: To activate your account, please respond with 0000
The correct reply to this message is:
0000
Any other reply will be rejected by the system. The system will confirm all replies if valid or respond with an error message if invalid.
Once the registration is activated the subscriber is ready to receive offers that match the personal preferences. That is, if the subscriber has entered that a sea view, double room is requested, then only offers concerning sea view, double rooms will be send. Each offer will have the following informational items on it in order to give the subscriber a complete picture of the offer.
Which partner has made the offer (i.e. Cavo Maris)
View type of the room offered (i.e. Sea view)
Room type of the room offered (i.e. Double)
Regular price for the room per night, per person.
Special offer price for the room per night, per person.
Number of nights the offer is available. (up to three nights)
The end section of the sms with the offer, will have the acceptance codes with which a subscriber can reply. The partner may create an offer for up to three nights and the sms will reflect that on the number of reply options that it will provide. For example the offer listed below:
Double room, Pool View, Cavo Maris, Sep 14 2007, offer 40.00/night/person. Reply: 1051 for 1 night, 1052 for 2 nights.
Gives all the information needed concerning the offer. Notice the reply codes, 1051 if you wish to make an one night booking, or 1052 to make a 2 night booking. Again the reply should either be the number “1051” or the number “1052” and nothing else in order to be accepted. The offer listed above is limited to two nights by the partner.
Once the subscriber replies and the system confirms the reservation as accepted, the partner is notified for the reservation, and the subscriber’s credit card will be charged, normal procedure as in all other kinds of reservations.
It is important to note that all the details of the reservation will be provided from the subscriber profile preferences. That is, if the subscriber has the profile set up so that they are booking for 2 adults and 2 children, and 2 double rooms are required to accommodate them, then every time an offer is accepted, two double rooms will be booked and charged accordingly for the required number of nights.
At any given time the subscriber can log in the website and modify all the information pertaining to their person. Preferences on room types, credit card information and virtually every single piece of information is editable. |
